Broadcast - 4 Dec 2022
As I am “crook as a dog” this will be a short segment today.
The report on last Wednesday’s Technical night at clubrooms will be held over to next week’s broadcast news.
Of interest, in the recent WIA Spring VHF/UHF field day, club member Peter VK7KPC was able to activate two grid squares. Even though he managed to get into the third, QE39, he couldn’t raise any stations from there. Better luck next time.
Membership Renewals It’s that time of the year again - All club members should have received an e-mail with instructions on renewing their membership for 2023 by now. If you haven’t received the e-mail please e-mail the secretary with your updated contact details. For those that we don’t have an e-mail address for should receive a letter and renewal form send via snail mail in the next couple of days.
End of Year Celebration will be on Tuesday the 13th of December. To be held at the family friendly Mowbray Hotel. Those who wish to attend please register the number of places required to the Secretary or on the registration sheet provided at the club rooms. Registration is imperative as there will not be the ability to cater for “Late Walk-ins” on the night. It will be at 6pm for a 6:30 meal.
